Waterfront Farm
This project is a large waterfront farm in Maryland with numerous outbuildings including main house, guest cottages, barns, garages, pool house, tennis pavillion, boat house, boat sheds, several equipment sheds, gymnasium, formal gardens and greenhouses, and a few special structures. Wiedemann Architects developed a language for the main house and surrounding outbuildings that is inspired by the original 19th century farm. Buildings within the Critical Area buffer were constructed or re-purposed over their original footprint with flood resistant construction. All new work was designed with the goal of unifying the various structures as a consistent complex.
