House on the Pond

This house is the only one in Highgate that is not on the central Red Barn Lane. The design was inspired by the architecture of the 20th century English architect C. F. A. Voysey, incorporating some elements from The Pastures and The Homestead. A prominent arched front entry makes reference to the garden entry at The Pastures, while the corner windows, which open the home to the pond view, recall windows in The Homestead.  Although it does not share the same country lane as the other homes at Highgate, it is linked to the English Country-inspired community across the pond.
