Bethesda Penthouse
This project involved remodeling a newly built penthouse condominium in the Washington, DC area to better suit the owners’ lifestyle and needs. While they loved the location and views, the original layout required rethinking—beginning with creating an appropriate display space for their cherished antique carousel horse. Additional goals included expanding closet and general storage space and incorporating features ideal for entertaining.
The renovation, constructed by Alliance Builders with interior design by Lavinia Lemon Interiors, reconfigured the unit into a serene, elegant retreat. The updated layout enhances functionality, supports the owners’ love of hosting, and provides a calm, welcoming home in the heart of the city.
